Trevi Fountain, Rome

Ciao from Rome!

Actually, no, this post is scheduled, but it’s scheduled because today I’m exploring Rome as a part of my Mediterranean cruise. Exciting times!

So, here is a photo from the last time I went to Rome. Currently, the Trevi fountain isn’t looking as beautiful as this because it’s covered in scaffolding.

Today I thought I’d share with you some blogs and blog posts I’ve been loving recently, as well as some posts I’ve featured in myself…

  • I’m not a beauty blogger, and I don’t read a lot of beauty blogs anymore, but Jenny at Geeky Posh writes the best beauty reviews. So detailed and thorough.
  • This hair band tutorial is beautifully simple and makes the famous Popband look like a rip off. I’m definetly going to make my own.
  • I was the first lifestyle blogger to be featured on the new Liverpool Bloggers website.
  • Oh and did you check out my interview with Georgie for her 2 minutes and 40 seconds segment?

Have a great weekend!

Enjoyed this post? Why not share it...

  1. Hope you are enjoying your cruise! I didn’t realise you’d left – hope it’s all going well! I saw your post on the Liverpool Bloggers website, I was really pleased for you =]

Also, just in response to your post about being unemployed – although technically I’m never unemployed because of the self-employment, I can go for three months without getting any work. The best thing to do is never let yourself get bored, because this is when doubt and negativity creep in. Don’t overwhelm yourself with job applications, and just apply for everything out of desperation. Remember how competitive the current job market is and always understand that any ‘rejection’ isn’t a reflection on you, it’s just how it is! I’m sure you’ll find a job soon but until then keep travelling and having fun!

Thank you! I had a wonderful time. I’m sad to be back now!

Thank you so much for the tips. It has got to the point where I’ve considered applying for literally everything. Even jobs that will have a negative impact on my hip. I need to remind myself that I’m a skilful person and I should be able to get a job without damaging my health.

It’s like people have told me, half of the time the employers won’t even look at my CV. It’s just really tough, especially knowing that.

Omg, hope you’re having fun in Rome! I would love to visit again πŸ™‚

Thanks for the links to these awesome blogs πŸ™‚ Off to read your feature on the Liverpool Bloggers website and your segment on Georgie’s blog!

  3. I want to be on your cruise! I was in Italy last summer, and the Trevi was under construction then. it is kind of sad, but I did get to see it in 2010. Cannot wait to see all the pictures you will post! I saw your interview with Georgie, I liked it a lot. πŸ™‚

Fortunately, the middle section of the fountain was visible, which I think is the prettiest bit of it. It’s so beautiful when it’s not covered in scaffolding.

  4. Gillan

Ohmygod, you’ve been to Rome how many times? It’s always been in my bucketlist. I’m sure you’re having fun πŸ˜€
I am actually trying to discover new lifestyle and beauty blogs so thank you for the links πŸ™‚ I’ve just joined bloglovin for the same reason haha

    • Holly

I’ve been twice, including this latest visit. It’s an amazing city, so do visit if you ever get the chance. πŸ™‚

  5. Michelle

Hope you’re having fun! I love knowing that my friends travel! That’s awesome~

  6. Jamie

I am so envious that you’re in Rome! That’s one of my major cities that I must travel too! I hope you’re having a blast there? From what I saw on the History 2 Channel, it’s beautiful. Why are they scaffolding the fountain? Any clue?

    • Holly

I had an amazing time! Thanks!

I think they are carrying out mainteance or cleaning it. They’re also cleaning the Coliseum so that’s partially under scaffolding too.
