Christmas decoration

Finally, it’s December!

While I may have broke down yesterday over a piece of coursework, I’ve generally been having a good week.

On Monday Tyrone and I put up our Christmas tree in the flat. We are only in Liverpool for two weeks in December so we felt that was a valid enough reason to put the tree up early. Take a look at it all lit up…

I finally got the thumbs up from the ethical board at uni so I can start interviewing businesses for my research project. If only I had businesses to interview…

I have almost finished for the Christmas holidays now. No more lectures, but just one field trip on Thursday. Unfortunately I think it might be quite tough on my legs, but I am going to make sure my lecturer understands why I can’t be in pain that day.

Why? Well, I’m going to see The Who in the evening, and I won’t let anything stop me from being happy. The setlist for previous nights has been different each time, but if 5:15 and Bell Boy are performed then I will be reliving my favourite moments from the last time I saw them.

My parents are coming to watch The Who with me and are staying overnight in Liverpool. The following day, after a spot of shopping, they are taking me back to Shropshire for a couple of weeks over Christmas. I still have a ridiculous amount of work to be doing during the break, but at least I will be getting free food at my parents house. πŸ˜‰

Have a great weekend!

Enjoyed this post? Why not share it...

  1. Free food is always ace.
Seeing The Who? I’m jealous, I hope it’s awesome

  2. Susanne

Yay for free food, lol. πŸ™‚
I love that ball (do you call them that?) in your Christmas tree. And you’re totally excused for putting up the tree so early. If we decided to have a tree we would probably do that too.
Congrats, or something, on being done with lectures (and exams?) for this year!

  3. Cat

You guys have a pretty Christmas tree! I like that it’s a white one πŸ™‚

Have fun at The Who concert! And free food is always great, haha. I hope you’ll still have a great break, even with all the work you have to do!

  4. I’ve had my tree up for two weeks already! Love that bauble! That’s such a pretty tree, the blue is lovely.
Enjoy The Who, I’m sure it will be great! Make sure you enjoy your break and aren’t always doing work =p Yay for free food too, that’s always a bonus.

  5. Ooooh I loved the Who at Glastonbury! Enjoy the gig πŸ™‚ Coursework is annoying, just take it one step at a time. I’m looking forward to raiding my parent’s fridge too πŸ™‚
