What’s in my bag

What's in my bag

I really enjoy reading these “What’s in my bag” posts because I’m nosy (and yes, a little odd), so I thought I’d jump to the trend and write one these posts too.

I’m currently using this little black cross-body bag that I purchased last winter from Topshop. I use it all the time which is evident by the marks all over it. It’s probably about time that I bought a new one, but I love it too much to get rid of it just yet.

  1. Purse. My brother bought me this purse last Christmas and I absolutely love it. I share his love for foxes.
  2. Train tickets. From visiting home or trips to the hospital.
  3. iPhone 4 (Pete). I have no intention of updating it any time soon. It works perfectly well and serves its purpose well.
  4. Ray Bans or an umbrella. Truth is, there isn’t enough room in my bag for both. So, depending on the weather of that particular day, I either carry around my sunglasses or an umbrella.
  5. Pain killers. If my hip is causing me pain I take Co-codamol.
  6. Vaseline. To keep my lips super soft.

The rest of my bag is full of receipts, empty wrappers and even more train tickets. It just shows that I need to sort my bag out more often.

As I say, I enjoy reading “What’s in my bag” posts, so if you haven’t done one already, why not give it a go? If you have written one of these posts (or perhaps you might have made a video) share your link in the comments so I can come and nosy in your bag too!

Credit to Tyrone for the photography and editing. We were really struggling to get good lighting in the flat that day. I needed the experts help. πŸ˜‰

Enjoyed this post? Why not share it...

  1. I like how you keep it simple with the things in your bag and not let things pile up. I pretty much let things pile up until I notice when it’s too late and clean it out. I am totally digging the fox on your wallet! I have one of those Ray Ban sunglasses too! Except in a different style :P. Normally I stuff my receipts in my wallet so it’s easier for me to empty later on (even though it’s really because I’m lazy XD).

I’ll eventually make that “what’s in my bag” post….. And hopefully you’ll catch it :P.

Thank you. I use to put recipes in my purse but then it would be so full that I couldn’t find the money underneath all of the paper!

  2. Gosh your bag is organised! I emptied mine the other day and I had a steel tape measure and a screw driver set in there! That’s a lovely purse though. I gave my iPhone 4 to my brother thinking he would keep it until it broke but he got an upgrade to a 5c…so the poor 4 is just sitting on his bedside table!
I used to keep vaseline with me when I played the trumpet, I wish I’d still got some for lip chapping emergencies!

When it’s term time my bag is full of geography stuff like grain size cards. Vaseline is just such a useful product (and I’m slightly addicted) so it goes everywhere with me.

  3. Ahh I love your purse, it’s so cute! <3 xx

I love that you still have the iPhone 4! I do too. The battery life is so much better on this one than on the 5’s.

I love my iPhone 4 and see no reason to upgrade until it breaks! It’s holding up pretty well so far.

  5. That bag is super cute…! My bag is usually a sling bag or a laptop bag (I don’t own a laptop, maybe in the near future) for my college and stuff. So it contains all college related things : books, folders, etc.

Thank you. I tend to use a larger bag for uni so I can fit my iPad in. I also use it when I take my camera out as there is no way it can fit in my little one.

  6. An umbrella is a staple in everyone’s bag. You never know when it’s going to unexpectedly rain. Oh, England.

Think I’ll do one of these soon. I love your purse!

I like your purse πŸ™‚ foxes are amazing creatures, i love them too though not as much as i’m obsessed with wolves.

nice to know that you’re a loyal iphone 4 user πŸ˜›
it saddens me how some people feel like they need to upgrade to iphone 5 for the sake of being updated and then abandon their iphone 4/4s πŸ™ i myself still love my 4s (it’s shorter and chubbier and cuter haha)

i’ve always wanted to do this kind of post but feel i should…wait. my bag is too boring; it’s full of portable charger and cables like i’m some technician lol (i don’t even bring tissue sometimes, geez)

I’ve never had the latest, most up-to-date phone. I got my iPhone 4 when the 5 came out because it was cheaper. And ever since I bought an iPad I’ve found that I rarely use my phone any more. I only really use it for calls.
