Just do it

The title of this post makes it feels like it’s an advert for Nike. It’s not. But a non-sponsored fitness post is coming to the blog soon, so keep your eyes peeled if that’s your thing!

On a Sunday, I make time to look over my diary and plan out the up coming week. I’ll make myself a little (read: impossibly massive) to-do list including many tasks that have rolled over from the previous week.

You see, I have a bad habit of putting things off. Whether it be making a phone call, sending an email, running some errands or arranging an appointment, unless I have to do it that day at that exact moment, chances are I’ll just push it to another day.

4 day weekends are pretty special, am I right?!

I’ve been in need of a few extra days off for a while now, but I’ve been trying to save my annual leave for later in the year when Tyrone finished university and we can go on a couple of holidays. So yes, this extended weekend could not have come at a better time.

For the first time since I moved here almost 5 years ago, I’m spending Easter on Merseyside. It’s also the first time Tyrone and I have spent Easter together.

Believe it or not, this is the first Weekend Blog post I have published in 2017, and considering I posted them on a weekly basis for like 2 years, I think that’s pretty bad!

As they say, better late than never!
