Internet Throwbacks is a mini series in which I reminisce about stupid and embarrassing things I did online throughout my teenage years.

First of all, I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who read, commented and shared my last Internet Throwbacks post on emails I once sent. I’m so glad you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I laughed until I cried writing that post, as I did when writing this one.

This edition of my Internet Throwbacks series is all about “About” pages.

A new look for Empfire in 2017

At the beginning of 2016 I promised that Empfire would have a makeover. Well, it’s taken me over a year but here it is!

I don’t think I’ve ever taken so long or put so much effort into building a theme. I’ve gone back to the drawing board countless times, reworking ideas, incorporating new functionality, and just generally getting pissed off with jQuery. But I feel it was worth it. I’m so happy with it.
