I am really enjoying my time away from college. Lying in, getting up when I feel like it and doing very little all day. Perfect!
On Tuesday I went to Tyrone’s house. We went out for a meal at an Indian restaurant. Our meal was really nice and I enjoyed spending some time together without having to think about college or things like that. I’m just relaxing and that was a nice way to put an end to my college year.
Also on Tuesday I got a call about one of the jobs I applied for. I was offered the chance to go along to an interview which really cheered me up after the job rejection I got last week. Yesterday I went to the interview with my hair looking fabulous (I’ve just had it cut). I don’t really have any smart clothes so I just wore my old school trousers and a nice blouse. The interview didn’t last very long. It was pretty laid back and I wasn’t asked too many questions. It sounds like quite a challenging job but it’s only for a few hours a week. I’m up for a challenge and I enjoy learning new things, so fingers crossed!
Today I went to Liverpool with my parents. I didn’t plan on buying anything as I’m pretty skint but my mum treated me. I found a dress in Primark that I really liked. Now, I never usually find things in Primark so this was quite a surprise. I tried it on thinking that I would end up leaving the changing room with nothing but it fit. It fit perfectly. It honestly looks like it was made to measure! And not just that but it really suited me. I showed my mum and she couldn’t believe it was a Primark dress. She said it looked like it had come from a much more up-market shop. I was impressed, especially as it was only £15. My mum said she would pay for it for me. “I’d rather treat you in here than in Hollister.” Haha!!
I bought some coloured jeans from Pull and Bear and then we went for lunch in one of my favourite restaurants in Liverpool. If you are ever in the city I recommend M&C Steakhouse. I had the mussels as usual and they were cooked perfectly.
After lunch we did a bit more shopping and then we made our way back to the train station. But as we walked passed the Hilton hotel we saw a load of young girls, all about the same age, crowded around outside one of the doors. We assumed that there must have been someone famous staying there. We carried on walking through the shops and then suddenly hundreds of screaming girls came running through the shopping centre with banners, some of which read “We love Justin Bieber”. Rumour has it he was in town. How exciting!!!!!!!
LOL joke, I have good taste in music!
It amazed me really. Liverpool is the city that gave the world The Beatles, and now there are girls behaving exactly the same way about Justin Bieber as girls did back in the 60’s as Beatlemania was hitting the world.
No offence to any of you Beliebers but I’d rather be one of the girls screaming over Paul, John, George and Ringo than Justin.
